What is the purpose of this website?
The purpose of this website is to link cat rescuers with potential adopters and other homeless cat advocates in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.  Our goal is to unite cat advocates and enable them to share information and collaborate with one another in order to save as many homeless cats and kittens as possible.

How did this website get started?
We began our web presence by creating a website to save the Wayside cats.  Through operating the Wayside Cats website we met many wonderful people devoted to rescuing homeless cats and kittens. We received such a wonderful response to our Wayside Cats website that we decided to start a permanent website where cat rescuers can link with potential adopters and other homeless cat advocates to help homeless cats and kittens in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Do you charge for your services?
No.  Our website is a completely free service.

Do you provide any direct assistance such as helping to trap homeless cats or referrals for spay and neuter vouchers?
No.  We are simply a informational resource. We have created a “links” page that we will be filling with direct service providers in our area.

What do I do if I know of a homeless cat who needs help?
Please see our “links” page for local animal organizations who may be able to help.

Can you give me more information on any of the cats on your site?
No.  Please contact each individual for more information on a particular cat.

Will you link to my site?
If you have a website, upcoming event or any other information that cat advocates can benefit from please email michelle@escarosacats.com and we will get your information posted right away.

Do you accept donations?
No, but thank you so much for asking!  The cost to maintain this website is minimal so we do not accept donations. Please see our “links” page for local animal organizations who can benefit from your donations.
